Standard tungsten electrode diameters from 1.0 mm to 6.4 mm in 150 mm and 175 mm lengths, precision ground to h7 tolerance. All diameters are available in every type — WP, WT20, WC20, WL15/WL20, WZ8 and WY20.

Other sizes and lengths can be customized on request — including non-standard lengths for automatic cut-off machines and special diameters for Orifice, deep-joint or micro-TIG torches. Mixed diameters are accepted within one order.

Choosing a diameter for your amperage
As a rule, the electrode diameter must match the welding current: too small and the tip overheats and wears quickly, too large and the arc becomes harder to control at low settings. Most workshops stock Ø 1.6, 2.4 and 3.2 mm to cover the common amperage bands.

Which size sells most?
Ø 2.4 × 150 mm (or 175 mm) in 10-piece boxes is by far the most common retail pack, followed by Ø 1.6 mm for thin sheet work.
Can I order 175 mm in all types?
Yes — every type is available in both 150 mm and 175 mm, and mixed lengths are accepted within one order.
Do you supply pre-ground tips?
Electrodes are supplied ground and cleaned; specific tip grinding (pointed, truncated or balled) can be arranged on request.
